How to make an Indian biryani with chicken

How to prepare

  • Put the amount of oil in an appropriate pot and put on the fire.
  • Put the chilli pepper and fry it, then add the onion to the pot and leave it until it withers.
  • Add ginger and garlic to the pan and stir all ingredients until the ingredients are blue in color.
  • Add chicken pieces and continue to stir them until roasted and cleared water.
  • Add Indian spices and turn all ingredients for a minute.
  • Add the right amount of water that is sufficient for the chicken to soften.
  • While waiting for the chicken to ripen, wash the rice and boil it in boiling water, add oil and salt to it, and leave it for half of the ripening.
  • Add salt to the chicken mixture.
  • Leave the chicken mixture for a minute, then pour three quarters of the amount of rice you cooked.
  • Stir the rice with the chicken mixture.
  • Add the last quarter of rice to the top of the pot, without turning it over.
  • Cover the pan and simmer over low heat until the rice is completely tender.
  • Add a little saffron to it until the different colors are white, blonde and yellow.
  • Keep the white and yellow layers aside at the rooms, put the rice in the dish, then put the chicken on it and spread the white and yellow rice on top.
  • Garnish with nuts, coriander, and parsley.

Note: You can serve with a bowl of yogurt and green salad.

  • Two kilos of meat.
  • Six cups of rice.
  • Four large tomatoes.
  • Three onions.
  • Three sweet potatoes.
  • Three tablespoons of tomato.
  • Cup of milk (yogurt).
  • A teaspoon of (black pepper, ground red pepper, coriander, cumin, cardamom, cloves, and ginger).
  • Half a teaspoon of (turmeric, saffron, ground cinnamon).

How to prepare

  • Cut the meat into small pieces, wash them well, put them in a cooking pot, and add the water.
  • Boil the meat for an hour and add salt, spices, and bay leaf if available with lemon.
  • Remove a layer of foam (exhalation) while boiling meat.
  • Cut the vegetables into small pieces while the meat is done, wash the rice and let it soak in the water a little.
  • After the meat is done, place it in a large saucepan, grill the onion until it turns a little brown.
  • Add the chopped meat to the onions.
  • Add the yogurt to the mixture after the ingredients are homogeneous.
  • Add chopped potatoes, then tomatoes.
  • Cover the ingredients and leave them on medium heat for five minutes.
  • Add the head of tomatoes and cover the pot for ten minutes, to smooth ingredients.
  • After washing the rice and making sure that it is starch-free, put the basmati rice with the meat mixture, and mix well until the meat is mixed with rice and vegetables.
  • Put the meat broth on rice and vegetables, then put a piece of tin foil to cover the face of the pot, then put the lid (this allows the steam to remain inside), then put the mixture on the heat for twenty-five minutes.
  • After the mixture is done, sprinkle saffron water on top.
